About me

I am a 4th-year PhD student in MatSE deparment at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a member of Prof. Waltraud Kriven Research Group focusing on ceramic processing. Previously, I worked in Prof. Susan Trolier-McKinstry’s Lab at the Pennsylvania State University on polymer-ceramic-metal composites for ultrasonic applications.

As a graduate student at UIUC, I aim to understand structural-property-processing relations for ceramic materials and to explore their new advanced applications. I am particulary interested in ceramic processing of electro-ceramics, structural and high-temperature ceramics, oxide composites design, and geopolymers.

Currently I am co-advised by Prof. Tonghun Lee of MechSE UIUC and working on a project in the Center for UAS Propulsion (CUP). We focus on developing advanced ceramics/composites for multi-fuel ignition system.
